Hi Everyone, The BBQ is back and will be held in the field at Birchgrove Garden Centre on Saturday 20th August starting at 2pm. We will provide the meat and salad but any puds will be greatly appreciated. Please tell your class instructor if you are planning on coming, so we can make sure there is enough food to go around! There will be a raffle and "games" for the dogs, you will also need to bring your own chair.

Nothing to debate; it was a committee decision.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it would be a strange world if we all thought the same.
Thank you for your suggestion re: Heckington Show, we'll add it to the list of dates/venues to be looked at.
If anyone has anymore thoughts please give them to your instructor or email them to spaldingdtc@hotmail.co.uk to be included in the next newsletter.

Hi sorry, i just thought as you were aware of the sitution that this would of been a matter to dicuss at the AGM, but may be we have different views on what an AGM is for, then you could of still confirm it at a later date that you had lost out on the show, but lets not get in to a debate over it, i,m aloud an opinion surely, i,m i not, but good luck in find a new venue, maybe you could try heckington show for next year,

Simon,
If you read the announcement again you'll see that we hadn't had confirmation until Thursday, the day AFTER the AGM. Until we'd had clarification of what was happening it wasn't our place to comment.
Thank you for your concern and when we hold the next show we'll look forward to your offer of help

as a club member it is upsetting to hear , we lost the agility show after the club doing it for 20 yrs, but it is also more upsetting that it was not bought up at the agm, i would of thought this would of been something said about, i know it is easier to post it to the website, but whats the point of a agm meet, if things like this , is not been bought up.

Thanks to all who took part in Bourne Demo on Sunday 11th July. Everything went really well even though numbers are shrinking. Due to this and the average age of the dogs on the team, we have decided to hang the banners up for the time being. Special thanks to Andy for providing the transport and the muscles!. Best wishes, Linda & Sue
